Ethnic minorities
In the lands of the North-West Vietnam, between mountainous areas between China and Laos, there are the tribes of various ethnic groups, ranging from colorful hmong (or miao), Tay and Lu. The primary source of life for these ancient people is agriculture:the tradition tells that everything is done according to lunar cycles. The markets are full of goods, from animals to fabrics, handicrafts entirely handmade. Unfortunately, the ancient values of these old tribes are leaving place to the new Western tradition.
Minoranze Etniche (Vietnam & Laos)
Nelle terre del Vietnam nord occidentale, tra le zone montuose strette tra la Cina e il Laos, troviamo le tribù di vari gruppi etnici, che vanno dai coloratissimi hmong (o miao), i Tay, e i Lu. La prima fonte di sostentamento per queste antiche popolazioni è l'agricoltura: la tradizione vuole che tutto venga svolto secondo i cicli lunari. I mercati pullulano di merci, dagli animali alle stoffe, prodotti artigianali interamente lavorati a mano. Purtroppo, gli antichi valori di queste centenarie tribù stanno lasciando il posto alla nuova tradizione occidentale.
